      Adopting business ideas*

Adopting means that the proposed idea is accepted for further discussion and research to find if it has potential. Adopting may or may not mature for ‘nurturing’

      Nurturing business ideas*

Nurturing indicates active support for an idea that has qualified ‘potential yes’ This stage normally involves converting a virgin idea to a business concept.

      Developing business ideas*

Developing includes creating ‘verticals’, business systems, IPR, other documentations and market-base. (AMPL generally holds shares in the business during this stage)

      Entrepreneurs

Person with desire, determination, traits and resources to own, grow, diversify and / or sell business entity.

      ‘Good for society’

Through a complex and almost proprietary process we will ascertain whether the idea / entrepreneur will be good for society (including human and non-human elements) on various parameters and factors

      Business concept

A concept is brief statement about business that answers three aspects – what does the business do, how does it add value for the end / intermediate users and how does the business process ‘happen’.

The details of how resources and products / services flow, and how are they monitored and directed.

      ‘Handing-over’ process

The mutually agreed point when an assignment is no more under AMPL consultation, generally over an informal dinner.

      Hand-holding*

Hand-holding includes coaching and mentoring, carefully preserving the ‘natural grain’ of a budding entrepreneur; developing his / her leadership, business acumen, analytical and promotion skills and other entrepreneurial traits. Period ranges from 6 months to 36 months

      ‘Release’ process

If the ‘handing-over’ is to a business idea, ‘release’ is to an entrepreneur.

      Business potential

Evaluation of quantitative and qualitative impact of an idea over specific time period.

      Ecological living

Dynamic equilibrium among components, with acceptance and contribution for each other, directly or indirectly.
